Albania is not attracting international media attention only through natural beauty, historical monuments, or coastal tourism.
Recently, the prestigious Forbes magazine has rated the country as one of the most promising destinations in Europe for investment in the real estate sector.
In an article published by this international magazine, Albania is ranked among the most favorable countries to buy property under $100, even along the coast.
According to Forbes, one of the strongest points is Vlora, considered the most suitable destination for investors, where property prices range from 77 thousand to 99 thousand dollars.
One of the most popular destinations is Vlora, a coastal city along the Albanian Riviera with a rich history and gorgeous beaches. Here, it is possible to buy property for $100,000 – or perhaps much less,” the magazine writes.
The assessment has also been welcomed by representatives of the country’s real estate sector.
“I think it’s good news when you are recognized by this magazine. It’s a growing market that holds great promise for investments. There are very good opportunities to utilize incoming capital,” said Reinaldo Pipiria from the ‘NAREA’ Association.
According to him, there are several factors that are driving international interest in Albania:
“The presence of several political and economic summits, Albania’s strategic location in several important corridors and the process of integration negotiations. In the future, price increases and more difficult entry into the market are expected, so this moment is being exploited,” adds Pipiria.
Meanwhile, experts in the field emphasize that Vlora is expected to play a key role in the economic developments of the region.
“Vlora will have a gateway to the Western Balkans in terms of American investments, but also from the Arab world. It is expected that there will be a presence of major entrepreneurs, including the son-in-law of former President Donald Trump,” they emphasize.
To the international media, Albania is described as a proud country, with a vibrant capital, impressive mountain landscapes, and a stunning coastline along the Adriatic and Ionian Seas, which make it not only attractive to tourists, but increasingly also to global investors.
